Communication

Biralee Preschool uses OWNA, an app-based program, to communicate with families electronically. Upon enrolment, families will receive an email with instructions to set up a username and password. OWNA is where you’ll find important documentation about your child, including observations and daily reflections. If you experience any difficulties using the app, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of our educators.

Parental feedback

We value open communication and welcome any feedback, suggestions, or concerns you may have. If you wish to discuss a matter, please speak directly with the Director. We are committed to working in partnership with families to ensure the best outcomes for all children.

Family involvement

At Biralee Preschool, we value strong connections with families and maintain an open-door policy. Parents and family members are always welcome to visit and participate in our preschool community.

Your involvement sends a powerful message to your child—that you support and value their experiences in the preschool environment. We understand that for many working families, time can be limited. That’s why we aim to offer flexible opportunities for involvement that suit your availability and comfort level.

There are many ways you can take part, including:

  • Joining us on excursions
  • Attending special events and activities
  • Offering your time as a volunteer
  • Providing feedback through OWNA communications or parent surveys

No matter how big or small, your involvement is appreciated and helps strengthen the connection between home and preschool.
